Prerequisites:The person taking this course should have some knowledge of database systems including relational database design. It is also advisable that they have some prior working knowledge of SQL Server, or have taken our SS2300: Implementing SQL Server course.

In this hands-on, instructor-led course attendees will learn to administer a SQL Server 2008 database. They learn how to configure and monitor the server for optimum performance, perform replication, and create a strategy for security. You will also learn to use some of the maintenance wizards that can make administration of the system much easier.
